Sustainable Storeroom Solutions Webinar
In today’s market conditions, companies are faced with reexamining their business models and operations. Out of necessity, they are rigorously attempting to increase revenues and efficiencies, reduce costs, and mange assets to optimize operations.
To achieve these objectives MRO departments universally operate with a “just-in-case” storeroom environment that dictates they carry one of everything just in case equipment fails. This is neither reasonable nor feasible in this competitive environment. Companies can’t store one of everything while reducing storeroom inventories.
What then is the optimal inventory level? What is a critical spare? What should the min/max levels be? What is considered spare parts management best practices? These are typical questions asked from Maintenance Managers, Storeroom Supervisors, and Plant Leadership. Believe it or not, we can answer these questions using proven steps and methodologies to define best practices, establish goals, and implement a master plan to achieve the desired affects.
