PM Optimization

PM Optimization (PMO) is a process which uses the principles of RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) to rationalize (analyze, improve) existing maintenance programs, eliminate or reduce failure (or losses associated with failures), and eliminate chronic equipment and/or process defects.

PM Optimization is a high-involvement, team-based process that increases both the effectiveness of the current maintenance and reliability strategy and the efficiency of its execution.

PM Blitz

PM Optimization (PMO) is a process which uses the principles of RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) to rationalize (analyze, improve) existing maintenance programs, eliminate or reduce failure (or losses associated with failures), and eliminate chronic equipment and/or process defects.

PM Optimization is a high-involvement, team-based process that increases both the effectiveness of the current maintenance and reliability strategy and the efficiency of its execution.

 

The PM Blitz Workshop is designed to be 8-16 hours in duration depending on the complexity of the asset.  The workshop includes:

  1. Assessing the Asset
  2. Review existing failure history
  3. Analyzing each task for improvement opportunities
    1. This analysis is accomplished using Marshall Institute’s PM Blitz tool
  4. Summary of suggested PM improvements
  5. Quantification of improvements

PM Systems Development

Marshall Institute’s Subject Matter Expert (SME) will work closely with your key resources to optimize and develop PM strategies to improve the organization’s maintenance and reliability posture.  Because using incorrect or inadequate maintenance techniques is a waste of time, money and resources, and often has no effect on improving or maintaining availability or critical equipment, our SME will assist you in developing PM strategies that will save valuable time, money and effort.  Marshall Institute utilizes world class practices in the development and writing of PM procedures and job tasks.
